Concrete Repair for a Domestic Client
A Domestic client required concrete repairs carrying out to a balcony that was suffering from chloride and carbonation attack
- Breaking out the defective concrete locations and removal of existing render
- Grit blasting to remove all existing coatings and blasting the Steel reinforcement
- Priming the steel reinforcement with SikaTop® Armatec®-110 EpoCem
- Carrying the repairs using Sika 4012 low carbon concrete repair mortar
- Application of a MCI impregnation coating (sika ferroguard 903) to provide further protection from Chlorides
- Application of a Fairing coat of sika monotop 3020 to the balcony
- Application of Anti-carbonation paint system sikagaurd 550W
